Marriotta - a really sweet miniature rose

I recently moved Marriotta to a sunnier spot and it's rewarded me with a nice spring flush. I've been trying for several years to get more blooms and it's finally happening!

The white edging (picotee) on the pointed petals add to the charm. Marriotta was first introduced in New Zealand and is slightly fragrant.

If you have a photo of your Marriotta, I'd love to see it!

Thanks everyone! I've been trying to get an accurate photo of Marriotta for several years. This is the first photo I'm happy with!

suncoastflowers - I think it only reaches 1.5 to 2ft. It's not much in commerce but I know that Burling sells it if you're interested.

Marlorena - I've learned that this rose is very popular with people involved in rose exhibitions. I've seen it at my rose society's annual show. Maybe I can enter mine next year if it ever grows taller. After the rose was dug up from its prior spot, I noticed it had beautiful long roots. I think it was just waiting for more sun!
