yes I do right where Im taking the picure from is a closet that Im thinking of having all hooks that way kids might hang up their jackets...lol

I would just do a bench. You have a small enough space that it will feel crowded and the eye will be going up and down from door to window to cabinet to mirror, etc. But I know where you're coming from. By my garage door I had a tall cabinet a few years ago and then I swapped it out for a simple bench. Much prefer just the bench. 1st pic is before. 2nd pic is after.
