Master Bedroom paint/decor ideas needed!

I can’t picture how I want my bedroom to be. I’ve been staying in my guest bedroom until I can at least have an idea. The bedroom is right off of the living room, which is a beautiful Lazy Gray (Sherwin Williams) so I don’t want the bedroom color to clash. I do want it to be somewhat of a different feel. I even thought of 3D wall panels. IDK. I’ll post photos of the living room near my bedroom and then my bedroom... I suppose I can decorate the bathroom after I have an idea of the bedroom. Thanks in advance!

I’d love an accent wall. Not sure if it’s possible with my room layout

First of all - no color clashes with the color of your living room. I'd like to see a bit of pattern, texture, or color in the bedroom -- given your layout - what about the ceiling? It is a frequently neglected surface. Or instead of an accent wall, perhaps an accent panel on either side of the headboard behind night stands? Is the carpeting existing? For help with choosing and using colors, see these tips and tricks. Also, the pictures behnd the headboard would be better elsewhere.

What about wallpapering the headboard wall? Are you keeping your current bedding?

I'd take away all the stuff over the bed. Do you love your bedding? It looks a little flat and tired. Could you add a chair and maybe a much larger rug?

IMO you need to start with some awesome bedding I don’t like the bedding now it is pretty boring and IMO you can do much better. Then choose a wall color that works with the bedding , the drpaes need to be changed to go with the new bedding and a much larger rug too.You certainly have space for a chair and a ottoman and a nice lamp some wider night tables with good sized lamps BTW I love gray bedrooms .This one is one of my favorites

Not a fan of the current wall color at all. Remove the pictures above the bed and leave blank. add night tables BOTH sides of bed including lighting. Get a larger rug. Mirror and entry door across from bed is bad feng shui. I would move the dresser next to the bed and use it double duty as a night table and the get a bench for the end of your bed. Or just put the mirror somewhere else. Love the windows. But blackout curtains a must.

I am so grateful for all of the advise I've received so far. I have a brief description of my problem to keep from posting a long post, but I've noticed it would have answered a few questions. The photos with the brown paint room was taken from the realtor's site when I first moved in. None of that was my furniture. I've been living in my guest bedroom until I figure out what to do. I've painted that room twice and hated it. It is now green and bare as shown in the photo

. Green was even worse than the tanish/pink I had (I know, don't ask lol). I've since repainted my living room which is the gray paint. My living room shows the current color scheme. Right behind my sofa is a builtin nook which also has the same color scheme.

I bought a used bed canopy bed that I originally wanted to chalk paint white; however, I've recently had a mind change to purchase a round bed in rose (perferred) or gray. The canopy bed is also pictured.

So basically I'm starting fresh, with no bedding or colors. I did imagine painting my baseboards and molding gray with whitish wall paint.

and possibly use white accessories to blend in a rose colored bed... Just a thought... I'd hate too much gray by adding a gray bed but maybe I cant see it.

Once again, I appreciate all of your help..
