Not for this year, of course. I bought my Minnesota Snowflake mock orange when it was tiny, and I didn't know that too much nitrogen would inhibit blooming. I planted it in rich soil, mixed with worm castings from my worm bin, and then added bone meal and kelp meal. The plant is now 2 1/2 feet tall, robust and bright green and obviously way too happy to bother making flowers. It gets sun for the first half of the day. Is there anything I can now do to encourage it to bloom next spring? I'm letting weeds grow around it, in hopes they'll suck up some of the soil nutrients, although that seems a bit silly. Any advice?
