I am so sorry Debra, I have been having some issues, in that sometimes it does not post a picture that showed up before I hit submit. I have edited and got it on. A pain to do, but not like submitting a whole post and losing it. That has not happened to me in a while, but I don't initiate many posts. Frustrating.

This is now the third post I've made that went through and showed up on my screen but never showed up on the thread list. Ridiculous!

Pictures not showing up is sometimes because they haven't fully uploaded before you hit submit. They'll start off kind-of greyed and then become full color when they're ready. As for the whole post not showing up, I'm not sure but maybe it was too big? You might try breaking up into a couple pictures in the first post and then subsequent pictures in the comments. I don't know what would cause it to look like it posted but not actually have posted unless it's some weird timeout issue or hitting a limitation that's cause it to bounce ...

One thing I’ve learned, you can’t hit submit while the photos are grayed or faded. If I wait til the photos are true I never have a problem.sometimes it takes a considerable amount of time

There was no trouble with the pictures. They were not grayed, nor were they too large. My photos are low resolution screen shots. Each time, when I hit post, it goes through and shows me the whole post, and it says posted "just now." But then it's not on the list for others to see. This is a totally different problem that we were having last season.

Debra , I have run into the same thing . I am not sure if you do this but I always copy my post now before submitting it . that way if it disappears I can paste it in the topic box again and I just have to add the pictures again . I have also run into making a post , submitting it , it says "just now" but I head back to the main page and it is not there . I have found if I move to another post and then go back to the main page suddenly it is there . It's a real pain in the patoot !

Another thing that is happening again is I am not getting notifications that there are any new posts. This seems to turn on and of at someone's whim. One day I get them and then suddenly the notifications stop . And then they will suddenly start up again . No rhyme or reason.

Isn't this around the same time as last year when some brainiac at Houzz decided to do new software so we couldn't post any pictures?.....I'm sorry you are having trouble Debra. NGA is a wonderful site, but when it comes to posting pictures during the daylily glut it's not the same as our more intimate group. Hopefully, the situation will right itself this year............Maryl
