Grandma's Smile, Stenciled Infusion AND Pink Aloha are my favorites today. I feel that my daylilies seem late this year, but Pink Aloha has an almost opened bloom today, so probably tomorrow it will be open.......Cool today with no humidity. Did I wake up in Paradise because this sure isn't the usual start for Oklahoma in June............Maryl

Can’t help it, I love Pink Extraordinaire and Pink Aloha, just hope they both do better for you. Does Sycamore Frills have a triple edge? It’s a really nice bloom too. I agree, Stenciled Infusion looks great to me every time I see it!

Oh my goodness! so many beauties. Clown Parade looks perfect and will just get better as it goes. Love Stenciled Infusion! Lovely group. Pink Aloha is lovely...I go that one this year...thanks you Kate! Buddy's Red Head is an eye-catcher! And Pink Extraordinaire is stunning regardless of poor plant habit. Beautiful post.

Sherry - Pink Aloha is doing better by scaping on all fans. It's one that didn't like the zero temps two years ago. The one fan last year did well. It had 16 buds. It tied with Grandma's Smile and Dearest Valentine for pink with the most buds. Sycamore Frills does have a triple edge - two that are the colors in the eye and the bubbly cream outer edge.

Kay - Pink Aloha should grow well for you since you are bit warmer than I am in winter. It is a gorgeous pink. I think that is the prettiest Pink Extraordinaire has ever bloomed. By the way, I will be selling it in the fall.

Like everyone else I think, Pink Extraordinaire really is striking. Such a shame it has such poor traits. Clown Parade bloomed 1st here a couple of days ago, this morning it had several blooms. The flowers on it, and a few others here, seem bigger this year. All the rain maybe. Stenciled Infusion is looking good, but you never have a bad picture!

I'm glad to see The Thin Air in your garden. I have 3 seedlings I started this past winter of seeds of The Thin Air x Sparkling Giants off the LA. Who knows what will come of that cross but it sure sounded interesting. Your daylilies are looking great. The ones from you have put up scapes even though they've been slow to grow (our temps have been cool) and I know I am supposed to cut them off but since not a single resident daylily is showing scapes yet, I have left them. Stenciled Infusion doesn't even look real it's so gorgeous!

Kate, Nancy and Celeste - Stenciled Infusion seems to always shine. It's an early morning opener and it's always open perfectly no matter how early in the morning I go out in the garden. Last year it had a lot of lateral branching and bud counts in the teens because of all the rain we had. This year with so many dry weeks, it's not as spectacular on buds. But it has a respectable 9-12 buds per scape. And because it multiplies so rapidly, there are multiple blooms every day.

Celeste - That seed cross with The Thin Air sounds like a winner!

Love all the clump and multiple bloom shots! My pick of the group is Stenciled Infusion - and I'm glad to hear that it's an EMO! I don't know if I knew that or not. I really like Absolute Ripper too - I saw it last year at the daylily farm that's about an hour from here... it is really unique.

Lovely group of blooms! Stenciled Infusion catches my eye. Clown Parade and Pink Aloha look nice as well.
