Bulb ID? Soft rubbery leaves

These bulbs were salvaged last year from a lot which was to be cleared, and I mistook them for daffodils at the time. Now the daffodils and tulips are months behind us, and these mystery bulbs haven't shown any sign of flowering. I pulled them up because they were starting to get tatty and flopping over, also I was curious to take another look at the bulbs. Without the brown skin (it came off by itself when I lifted them) and dirt, they don't look much like daffodils.

The foliage is slightly shiny and very soft and tender, and it has a rubbery feel...almost slightly sticky although it doesn't have any residue. The glove is size small.
