I have an awesome clematis that’s in its second year up here in Michigan. I bought it for 11$ at Lowe’s then lol. This had 1 bloom it’s first year and this year like 50 and counting. I’m stuck though, I wasn’t expecting it to grow so fast. I need to switch trellis(I am slowly unwinding it)

do I dead head? And is it possible to prune it just a bit in June to change trellis? Some of the vines are stuck in lattis on deck and I don’t want to hurt it
