question on trim for small spaces

Hello

So I have am painting my space BM decorators white but am wondering what colors best for trim/shoe molding? Its a small city condo space so should also be DW? Saw someone else have chantilly lace which blends but not sure how would work for my space. Would having all one color expand space?
