It does look like it’s shrugging! It also looks like it’s out on the porch. The doors look like exterior doors and the floor looks like a wooden porch floor.

What is the living room floor made of?

Donna

Haha, that’s funny about the bed. If I had that living room floor, I’d be playing hopscotched whenever I walked in the room.

The lack of molding makes the house look like new constr to me. I like barn doors, and am guilty of them myself, but here ...just ... no.

And the drapery and rods? WWTT?

The teeny tiny lamps in the bedroom bother me. Are the barn doors on a reach-in closet or is there a step up into the next room?

Here's the listing for the house. It certainly is an eclectic mix of what-have-you! McKinney is, as I recall, a home to a lot of antiquey-type stores.

Notice, how even here, in what looks like an older house, they have succumbed to the THINGS MUST BE GRAY for resale trend ... sigh

ps. just checked age 1935

That is too funny. The bed has to shrug off the barn doors.

bpath, I remember all those antique stores in McKinney too.

Will take a look at the listing, but the LR - what's with everything lined up against the walls? I see DH had to have a recliner?
