    Looks like Bombay Silk is the winner! Sherry, Smoky is so great in person. Pictures can't do justice to the various shades of colors in it. I do have one or 2 really good pics on my main computer [which is down, like me]. I'll post one sometime.


    Celeste, I know you can relate! I really haven't seen them except for at a distance thru the back window. I can step out on the front porch and see the ones out front, like Bombay Silk,. but there are only about 15 or so out front.


    Yes, you all read it right. Not only am I down, but my good computer stopped working. I have the parts needed to rebuild it [it is a desktop], and my 20 year old son Josiah is going to rebuild it for me real soon. Yes, my kids know a bit about computers too! I just am not up to it or I would have already.. It won't then have to wait 6 weeks to work like I do!. As a matter of fact, it will be blazing fast from the get-go!

      Bombay Silk is going to have a great year. It is right beside the front porch so I can see it well and I actually took the picture. It's wet from the rain.

      Spiritual Corridor looks light because it is in the sun. It is going to have a great year, many many scapes.


      I think that is all. Not getting out to see them and having others do the photography can be confusing.

      My one adult son tried to wheel me around the yard but it was so bumpy etc. It looks like I will only see the front daylilies except by photograph, except for when my new this year seedlings bloom. There are 3 scapes and I will get out there somehow.

      Bombay silk is gorgeous! It is my picke today, although Spiritual Corroder is looking good too.

      Spiritual Corridor is always reliable, though bud count does vary from year to year. Russian Rhapsody also is an oldie but goody. It is hard to capture the sheen of Bombay Silk; yours looks as though it will perform well.

      There are daylilies I've had to cull because I'm cutting back. Smokey Mountain Autumn is one of them. It had the most unusual color with that smokey overlay. Oh well........Spiritual Corridor would be my pick of this group. Looking good.............Maryl

      Nice group after a rainy day. My Smoky Mountain Autumn got overshadowed by s shrub and clematis last year and had almost disappeared when I realized it. I now have 3 fans prolif size, I miss the blooms this year.

      Bombay Silk is pretty! Love Smoky Mountain Autumn. Sometimes a daylily is named appropriately for its colors-this is one!

      Glad you are getting lots of blooms but sorry that you can't get out and about with ease. Hope your recovery is going well. I know it's frustrating to not be able to do the things we want to do!

      Bombay Silk is my pick today. I’ve never seen Smokey My Autumn in person, it sounds wonderful. I hope you are out and about soon!
