Unknown ping pong ball sized super smelly one. I really hope some hawk eyed expert can help me ID this one. I'm really intrigued by the bloom quantity and fragrance. Plus it seems to stay small- about 3 ft tall.

I was told the licorice scented unknown rose might be Clarity. I cannot find very much info about it. Does anyone have experience with this particular rose?

Oh hes Will I know exactly the rose you mean...it is unlabeled and I've been trying to figure out what it is myself. Scentsational is next o it and behind it is Sweet Chariot and I suspect the mystery rose may be Vineyard Song.

Thank you Pipa. I asked the guy working there about it as well and they had no clue either :( I will visit he garden again and take more pics so hopefully someone can pinpoint the variety.

I 've been reading your and diane's post from ID for quite a while since our climate conditions seem to be similar. Thank you for posting your queries here and allowing us to learn more knowledge about amazing roses.

There is a lady who works in records there named Heidi you can call and ask. Most people you run into are volunteers or are just doing maintenance so don't know about plant names etc. I've wondered what that rose is so many times too it smells wonderful and I've assumed it was Vinyard Song or some seedling maybe that just happened.
