Yeah, our dollar stores only have a couple of flower seed varieties. I did find a few kinds at Home Depot. So, I at least have a start. :)

You can order seeds online. High Mowing Organic Seeds, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, and Johnny's Selected Seeds are some I have used. Their seeds are available throughout the season.

If you have a Menards nearby you might check there. Last time I was in one near me they still had a good selection of Burpee seeds. I don't usually order from Burpee online because the online prices are much higher.

Just a note about Burpee, The Home Depot and Walmart both sell Burpee seeds for a lot less than the Burpee website (but I don't think they offer Burpee's entire selection). You can even buy Burpee seeds online from The Home Depot and Walmart (for a low cost).

Look at the listings further down on this forum below your posting where it says newbie seed project for April. That's the last one of the year. They are offered several months in the winter and spring. You will see a lady named Val in Massachusetts operates that for us. We send her large seed donations and she splits them up into packets. Give her your name and address in a private message to be put on the list for next year. Then you politely send her 2 or $3 or whatever you wish to help cover the postage and envelopes after your seeds arrive. She will send you about 25 packets. Good luck with your Gardens.
