Iris rebloomers

For anyone who is/was looking for rebloomers, I just got an email from High Country Gardens about their rebloomer collection. They also have some tips about how to facilitate rebloom.

If you have never used Yum Yum mix, I highly recommend it for anything in your garden. It can be purchased locally (that is, Denver metro local) at Harlequin gardens in Boulder and I think Echter's has it as well now.

The white ones are blooming on the hill and the second picture looks like Champagne Elegance that one of my friends ended up with from the 2017 iris swap and its amazingly fragrant.

Thanks! Since all of my irises are mystery plants from swaps (I’m sure I was told what many of them were, but I didn’t write anything down so now they’re NOIDs), I’ll be interested to see if any of mine are rebloomers. I know I have at least one, it was such a pleasant surprise last fall!

Faith, there were a lot of rebloomers at that last swap. The key is watering them so they can multiply and rebloom.

So Champagne Elegance may be a rebloomer also??? Looking forward to finding out.

Dezi Lo, thank you for all those white rebloomers. We got everything from the Iris swap planted right away. The pictures are so pretty! Thanks!

I think Champagne Elegance is the one that rebloomed for me last year. I moved it this year so that's probably why I didn't get any rebloom.
