Furniture Design Dilemma

Custom dining table

Looking for help in building a custom dining table that I can adjust the height to be in two levels a) Low level that will have floor seating and b) normal height that will have chair seating. Need a way to easily change the heights a mechanism with which we switch the desks from sitting to standing

I don't know your budget or tastes, but Calligaris (Italian brand) makes an adjustable table, where you can raise it from coffee table height to dining table height. Actually, there are seven heights available! It's also extandable, so that you can sit more people at the table.
