Strutter's Ball

Stealth Bomber is having a strange year. Here's 1 scape, kinda short with a compact & smaller flower

Here's the other scape, tall with a very large, floppier-style flower.

My favorite Seedling from a proliferation I planted 3 seasons ago. With this This will make 5 scapes of it already, plus a few other plants. My red-orange seedlings are right behind it.

That's enough for now. Westbourne Good old Days is too pathetic to post. So is my first Brooklyn Twist of the year.

Forsysth Flying Dragon is huge

Nice that you got outside again. Your seedlings are looking good! South Seas and Chance Encounter are my favorites today. Forsyth Flying Dragon looks good today, any guesses how big the bloom really is?

Sherry, FFD is supposed to be 8 1/2, but it is often more.

Good that you got to get out. My favorite is Bittersweet Holiday. I also like Forsyth's Flying Dragon. Stealth Dragon may behave better next bloom or may even rebloom.

South Seas has lots of buds like many you have posted. I have always like Bittersweet Holiday. Your seedling looks great, especially with that size! Strutter’s Ball is an oldie that can really strut. Be careful out there!

I have a soft spot for South Seas , looks lovely. My favourite though is your seedling . Looks to be quite large . It reminds me of dresses that were decorated with huge voluminous blooms in the 40's -50's .

I like that red/orange seedling of yours. That's one of my favorite colors. Bittersweet Holiday is a bright one too. I used to grow Bittersweet Destiny. Similar coloring. Really appeals to me........While I'm on orange, my South Seas is in bloom here too. It's just such a good daylily with a really nice color. One that everyone should enjoy.......So happy you are getting out in the garden again. Nothing like a dose of Vitamin D to help you heal..............Maryl

Vivid photos that capture the color well. Chance Encounter and Stealth Bomber look just like that here. The seedling has shimmering pastel color; show us more of that one.
