We are in the process of deciding on flooring for our new house and want to get it done before we move in (we only have about 3 weeks left due to the sellers wanting a very fast closing). We thought we had decided on Coretec Plus (we have a toddler who loves water and hasn't potty trained yet so we need waterproof and easy!) but then saw tons of horrible comments on Houzz about how impossible it is to keep clean even with the recommended cleaners. People complain that it smudges right after cleaning if anyone (including pets) just walks on it with socks or bare feet and they have to clean constantly. People also complain that it actually dents/scratches very easily, even with the recommended felt pads under furniture. Some also complain about how bad the customer service was about dealing with the issues they were having. We don't want to take such an expensive risk (over 1600 sq ft of flooring needs to be done); now we feel like we are starting over.

Then we found people raving about Flooret Modin LVP and haven't seen a negative review complaining about the same issues (maybe because they have a different top layer? ceramic bead vs Coretec's UV acrylic perhaps?) Has anyone had experience with either Coretec Plus or Flooret Modin being able to be cleaned well without having the issues explained above? Thank you in advance!
