Blooming philodendron!!

I have this beautiful giant Imperial Red Philo in my bedroom that I totally neglect, but I guess it’s happy. It’s been blooming for a little while now and the blooms are crazy. This is my Philo to bloom in my house. They are really pretty, but ick get so squishy and soft when they fall off.

Eeesh, the pics are really much better than they look. For some reason Houzz is cropping them weirdly and making them blurry. Idk if they’re zooming them in a bunch and that’s why they’re cropped and blurry looking, but the originals are much better. I’m happy to at least be able to post them, I suppose. I was having trouble posting any pics and now I just have to mess with it a bunch and it finally

    loads.

Oh,oops, that wasn’t even the one you asked about. Here is the chocolate aglao that is blooming, of course I was a little lazy and didn’t take pics right away, so the blooms are fading like you said your were.

Ooops, edit- supposed to say “this is my FIRST Philo to bloom in my house” at the bottom of my original post.

    Looks like a miniature Amorphophallus.

Just got a 'Black Cardinal'... any chance of getting a flower like that?

It does kind of, doesn’t it? Thank god it doesn’t smell like that though

And yes, the Black Cardinal bloom looks very similar. I also have a black cardinal, but I don’t expect mine to bloom, if at all, for a long time. It’s a tiny 2” plant and the Imperial Red Philo pictured above (and below) is HUGE!! Definitely the biggest plant, by far, that I have.

Oh my god.... I’m an idiot! Thank you to Karen for saying my pics were fine. I didn’t think so, until I accidentally clicked on one (just now) and the actual pic popped up on my screen. And yes, it looked totally fine. Haha, I’m so bad at technology!!!! I was talking about the small thumbnail pics in my posts. They looked blurry and parts were cut off. I did not know that you could click on the pic and the actual uploaded photo popped up. Wow, everyday is an opportunity to learn something new, huh. Especially when you’re a total dummy! Omg, my husband is going to love this. Hes a network engineer and is, honestly, a computer genius.
