While this room is beautiful, it looks more like New York than Florida. Larger, more colorful art would be a good start in bringing in a more relaxed feeling. You don’t need to change the furniture. The room simply needs some color and lightweight accessories. Potted trees in colorful ceramic pits would be good if there is enough light and water to keep them happy and green, which also means someone to provide those needs. If you have a favorite color, a few touches of that color would be good. Art, window treatments, a couple of accent pillows in the living room, a vase or decorative bowl on the dining table, a pair of upholstered chairs... whatever you choose in your color will work.

I find your little framed art draws attention to the BIG empty wall. If this was my room, I'd remove all the little art, replace the sideboard with one much wider that fills the wall, hang large colourful art over new sideboard, get a colourful rug for under dining table. And then replace chandelier with something more current.
