Oops!! Almost forgot Kay-this one is also for you. Two and a Half Cats. In pot. First year, received in spring so these have a long way to go.

Eminent Domain looks a lot like Erin Farmer. I really like Two and a half Cats and the mislabelled one.

I liked the orange one right off the bat or at least orange-ish in your picture. Gasping for Breath looks burnt orange. It may be my eyes though, as it could also be more rusty red....Speaking of colors, what color is Ramming Speed in person. It's oddly appealing in your picture - but then again it's not. Unique I'd say..........We yellow people must stick together. Nice bright one from you is appreciated.....Gwendolyn Rose still attracts me.....Maryl

Sherry, Ramming Speed was gifted twice by Maryott. So I have these two clumps of it. Then, I was gifted with a Spacecoast something whose name I forget which is the same color scheme but smaller! Really?!!!

Maryl, Gasping for Breath is orangish-gets more orange as heat of day increases. And Ramming Speed is that burnt orange with mustard thrown in!! It is quite large. :) And yes, I threw Gwendolyn Rose in there for you!!

I love BOLD SYMPHONY. I am a sucker for Bennett pinks.

Very pretty...Of course I love Bullfrog Kisses. Gasping for Breath is gorgeous. I like Two and Half Cats...pretty bloom. Ramming Speed is a nice one. Carnival in Mexico looks good...this is my first year for it, and it did okay. You have a lot of Nice clump shots today...that yellow is really showing out too.

David, if I am correct, your Bennett photos are the ones that got me thinking I needed more Bennett daylilies. I love his pinks and Bold Symphony has been a great plant.

Heather-Eminent Domain has multiplied like crazy and has had several days of blooms just like this. Again, for a plant I received in the fall, I think it has out performed expectations. Sunday River is an unusual plant. The reblooms are always this beautiful lavender color which is so different from first blooms. The first year I had it and this happened, I had to double check my labels to be sure I had read them correctly. But it has happened every year so I suppose plant habit for whatever reason!! It's like I get two daylilies for the price of one in the same spot!!

Kay-I knew you would love Bullfrog Kisses as well as Two and a Half Cats! And see, you do still like Ramming Speed. Carnival in Mexico has been great. I think you will like it next year even better.

Lots of beautiful blooms! Sorry to hear about the storm impact. I'm glad Eminent Domain is doing well there. I love Bullfrog Kisses, just wished it liked it here in MI - I am down to one fan. The name of I'm A Pirate makes me smile :)

As for favorites, I'll go with the Stamile pinks - Songwriter and Carefree Sunset - as my favorites of these. It's good to see those reblooms scapes on I'm A Pirate!

I actually gasped when I saw that photo of Eminent Domain! I can't believe how many blooms are on it being a new plant! But since it came from Laura I understand why.....her plants have extra vigor. Anything I fall-planted from her was huge and blooming well the next summer. I like Two and a Half Cats. I ordered a bunch of cat-themed daylilies from Bret Clement last summer which I am anticipating seeing this year for the first time. That was one that I had thought of getting. And the daylily that is my favorite of your bunch is Yellow Mammoth. That thing is gorgeous, big and bright! What a wonderful looking clump. How large are the blooms? They look enormous.

Yes, Laura, all your plants are doing well! Alex, I knew you would like that name as well. And Debra, I have many Stamile pinks-love them all. Celeste, Yellow Mammoth is of course an older lily I got many years ago. It tends to be forgotten in that back bed and as you can tell, very neglected. I must rescue it after that display, however. It is truly a mammoth and these blooms easily met the registered 10 inches. Most of what I have left blooming now are remnants and rebloom scapes. Looking forward to yours!
