How old is your World Cup? Is it possible that your World Cup isn't actually World Cup? My World Cup is young too. What I do notice is that the petioles are longer than the average hosta. Are yours?

Yes, it is pretty upright in habit, got from reputable nursery 2 years ago as 3" pot. Now seeing MadMadPlanter pic,mm maybe?

Had to quickly move it this spring because it was clearly a fast grower.

Yes, I will have to move it as well, hopefully cupping next year will be more prominent.

As long as you're moving it, t seems to like a lot of sun. Mine gets full sun from 8:30 until 12:30.

I also purchased mine last year. I am not seeing any cupping yet. The plant looks a little awkward. I am thinking next year it will take off.
