Some Recent Ones if Houzz Cooperates

Bad Karma for those Houzz technicians that messed things up so bad that things will probably never be the same.

Had to haul out the hose today. Thunderstorms are so unreliable.

I don't really remember what I have posted before. Just glad that Houzz was in a better mood.

You have so many marvelous clump shots that it's hard to pick a favorite. I think Carnal Emporium, Abraham Lincoln, and Wild Cherry Wine are the ones that stand out most for me. Thanks for sharing your lovely pictures!

I agree with Debra, your nice clumps look really nice, and most look like a lot more buds to come. I find Faith Healer very appealing, but all look so good.

    Mantis,

Wild Cherry Wine gets my vote. It is in the top 5 of favorite daylilies for me.

Imperial Lemon is such a nice yellow. Mine is finishing after blooming for weeks. Wild Cherry Wine always catches my eye. Mal and English Cameo look great in those clumps!

I enjoy seeing what the estate house looks like. I've secretly wondered since you show us glimpses of the pool in photos. It looks very elegant! As do your daylilies. English Cameo is really showing off, looking like it's posing for the photo. I love the soft pastel of Faith Healer. Addicted to Love is appealing to me. Via Dolorosa is a striking daylily and Wild Cherry Wine seems to always look beautiful. Once again, this was a treat for my daylily-starved eyes.

It looks like I’m agreeing with a few others here, Via Dolorosa and Wild Cherry Wine are my favorites. It’s good to see that Mal does well for someone, mine died. I see a poly on Strawberry Fields, kind of a nice surprise.

So few oranges shown that when one is, I'm automatically drawn to it. Tropical Fruit Loops is a dazzler...... Darlington County and English Cameo's soft peach look pretty in their pastel hues...........Maryl

Nice group. Tropical Fruit Loops has a deep orange color which stands out. English Cameo looks good in a clump.Abraham Lincoln looks like it has "canoeing" on some of the blooms. Is this typical or just weather related? Clown Parade pic looks good with it cascading blooms even with the short scape.

Celeste, there is much more to the estate. That is just a small part of the house, and there is a swimming people around which the daylilies are located (good place for enforced viewing). There are several levels to the acreage. Some day I will picture the grounds, but others would not appreciate it now.

Julia, I have been surprised how I have liked the deep cantaloupe color of Tropical Fruit Loops. Yes, Abraham Lincoln does not open perfectly flat all of the time, something that usually bothers me, but it seems quite natural in this case with all the buds. It is not as pronounced as the canoeing that I associate with many patterns. Also, the color is a bit smoky, but I find that quite appealing.

David, if there are any other Bennetts that come close to the quality of Wild Cherry Wine, emphasize them. What about Beauty in Motion?

Mantis , Nice nice nice. I have no idea what the Estate House is , but am intrigued by the talk of it .

I want to thank you for posting your image of Abraham Lincoln . I am just adding that one to my gardens this year so nice to see what I can look forward to . . Carnal Emporium is what I would call a cheery plant , nice bright clear colors . Every time I see Clown Parade I think to myself " I have got to add that one to my gardens" but simply can't find it here in Canada ( so far) . Now I am on a quest to find it . Surely someone here in Canada has that plant . Nice to see how well Mal does for you ..... mine died . I never replaced it .

Imperial Lemon looks lovely but looks short ? is it?

Beautiful shots! Quite the interesting estate. I look forward to seeing more of it.

My favorites are Wild Cherry Wine, Darlington County, and El Shaddai. Amy Grant does a beautiful song named El Shaddai.

Signet, Imperial Lemon is consistently quite tall. An older Harris/Benz, it is a classic yellow. Maybe too vigorous if neighboring plants had a voice.

Very lovely, Wild cherry Wine id beautiful. Always like Clown Parade. I am quite surprised at short scapes as I have never had a short one on CP, Abraham Lincoln is lovely. English aAmeo is very lovely as well.

Kay, in my home garden I also have never had short scapes on Clown Parade, though a few years it was just above the foliage.
