That is good news about Purple Starfish. I am inheriting Kate's since hers is always barely out of the foliage every year. We are at least 2 weeks behind here as well. I always like Eggplant Escapade and River Wind.

You must talk harsher to your daylilies than I do, David! My Purple Starfish is indeed on its way north! River Wind is really pretty and to be consistent is a winning trait!

I think the daylilies have ears. Every time I say I'm getting rid of one (when I'm standing next to it), it seems to shape up. I am glad your Purple Starfish decided to shape up. It's very nice. Lava Flow is one of the favorites here. I love the shape of Eggplant Escapade.

River Wind is my favorite of these. I've never heard of it. Who's the hybridizer?

Nice to see someone else post some PM shots. Purple Starfish has a nice lavender color in the PM and still looks good. Lava flow isn't as dynamic an orange in the PM, but still pretty good.....I hope your Doodle keeps those critters at bay..............Maryl

I have only had three plants blooming as well. Yes it was warm and muggy today. I too am still weeding and cleaning beds. I just haven't had time with all of my children involved with spring sports which just ended last weekend. We certainly got some rain today.
