So... is this Ernest Markham?

I posted some photos in the Clem flower show thread as well as s/he started blooming. This is his or her second blooming season in my yard but I still am not 100% sure who -- it arrived mislabeled. S/he is in full bloom now when the other type 3s are almost done with their first flush here. I from the start have suspected this is Ernest Markham (it looks pretty much the same as those in the photos at Clematis on the Web), but would like to have it confirmed by people who have experience with the cultivar.

Looks like it to me. Flowers are a bit rounded at the tips - that looks like mine. This is one of my favorites - healthy, blooms alot.

I get very cautious about assigning a specific cultivar ID to any LFH. There are just too many different cultivars with very similar appearances for anyone other than a clematis expert to be accurate.

Ernest Markham is generally considered to be a late flowering (pruning group 3) hybrid, so only recently (like midJuly on) producing flowers, rather than a repeat blooming type 2 with an earlier bloom cycle as well.
