Another view, Actually I rarely look head-onat our front and didn't realize the weeping mulberry had grown so large. Should the width just be trimmed, or should the entire tree be removed?

Does the mulberry leave a mess? Whether you trim or remove is up to you.

No mess with mulberry tree. Looks way overgrown in the picture!! We are leaning toward blue/green, rusty brown, or sun-dried tomato color. My husband prefers reddish, but I like the darker blue-green. i can't see navy with the brick What do you think of a darker brown to pick up the dark in the brick? Turquoise it too light for us

What would you suggest for updated lighting? The address sign is in the brick, so I don't see how that could be changed.

My own bias: I am very anti-brown for houses, unless it’s a cottage in the French or English countryside.

I like a claret or burgundy for the front door. This brick looks brownish to me and the color looks quite lovely. What do you think?

That new picture of the brick shows it to be a pinkish brown? Am I seeing that correctly? Monitors can be so deceiving, finding potential front door paint samples and painting them on large boards to set against your brick would help tremendously.

Just a thought:

When I was testing out color ideas for my front door I bought those colored 12x12” pieces of paper for scrapbooking at Michaels and set them against the siding to get an idea of what colors would work. I also bought those little bottles of craft paints and used them to help me narrow down the colors further.

As for lights, do you need three? I tend toward the more modern looking ones, but I don’t think this is too modern:

Your lights should be 1/4 to 1/3 the length of your door. Yes, that large.

Appreciate your help, Anna. There is no pink in the brick, more of a light rusty red. I like the top picture very much. Now we are thinking of painting side panels the color of the garage and the door a reddish brown. Can't go burgundy because of the rust color in the brick. Thoughts?

The top light is a security light, something my husband has to have!
