Can you post a picture of the space from farther back?

Since this space is very small I would consider looking for a narrow rectangular dining table centered like you have it now extending from the center window with chairs or benches to either side.

I’d get a pedestal table so legs aren’t an issue getting in and out. Something clean and modern.

Thanks so far, here is a bit further back pic

OK, thanks. I think I will be going for bench and round pedestal table + 1-2 chairs

How many people would you like to seat there?

Are you sure that's supposed to be the dining area? Don't you have some space closer to the kitchen for dining? That space looks more like a reading nook.
