Any ideas what this could be?

I can't really give a size as it was spotted on my local Craigslist and listed as a gear, but maybe you can estimate from the cinder blocks...maybe 36" diameter?

This is purely a curiosity question...TIA!

It reminds me of a wooden pattern used in a foundry.

Did the area it come from used to have looms? While wood it reminds me of a pattern wheel that used to be used in a weaving machine to replicate a pattern.

Great thoughts! I have no idea where it came from..the listing had multiple items, none of which seemed to relate to anything else. But it wasn't a store...
