I don't love the clock. You already have a lot of dark heavy elements in the space, plus an entry way doesn't seem like an appropriate place for a decorative clock. Maybe some hooks would be better.

I am confused, what kind of hooks and what would you do with them on the wall?

Sorry I really hate clocks hung anywhere we all have phones , watches to tell us the time. Get some nice art on the wall with a nice bright color palette and get a light fixture that actually lights the space instead of the ceiling.

Weird place to put a clock so I would say NO to the clock. I think you have enough in your front foyer but what you have needs a bit of tweaking. That's a great rug but it's is either too long or too short. It should either be longer so the console fits entirely on it or shorter so it doesn't go under console. Half on and half off looks weird. I would replace the lamp with something more current, remove the runner and replace all the decor on the console. Add large scale decorative boxes to the bottom part of your console and a big decorative bowl to the top (for keys and sunglasses). Then stop! Don't get into the over decorating trap. Every corner doesn't need decor and every wall doesn't need art. You have a lovely front door which is the focal point. Don't add any more distracting stuff.

Patricia, I took your suggestion and purchased a large colorful palette heart to go on one wall in my front entryway.

Love your new art....now find a runner for your console that reflect some of the color in the art. A new rug would be okay but if you use this one, pull it away from the door a bit so that it is more even with the console table. Oh, and change to a white lampshade also.

Erin Sean, Thank you for your suggestions I will look for a renter. Also, a white shade. Do you think it should be the size of the one that is on there now?

There was a suggestion to change the lamp shade to white however, when I looked at the lamp there is no way to get the lampshade off.

I have decided for now to keep my sofa table. My art I had picked out 40 x 40 Was way too big for the wall so I took it back and got a different one that is 25 x 25.
I will be looking for some round balls that are light blue gray and cream to go in the glass bowl. These are so I just found in the closet.

I’m going to hang this picture on the opposite wall of my sofa table. I’m going to take down the flower arrangement and remove the rug and look for a more narrow runner. What height should my picture be hung at.
