I’d look for a buffet lamp so it’s slim and doesn’t take up a lot of space. There is a gold leaf bamboo look one at Target that would be a good option. I wanted the one from Ballard and couldn’t justify spending 3x the price.

When I went to someone’s house and looked at it it is way too little for my entry way room which is 9 foot ceilings it would look so tiny in it.

The entire vignette is the statement. I love foyers as they can be little diamonds. The best way for us to comment, would be if you could post additional pics: entering, looking back, and trying to convey the ceiling height.

Here are some inspiration pics. The lamp is a small statement depending on the surroundings. Off the top of my head, I thought I would suggest a unique Asian ginger jar lamp, but really, unless the lamp has some personal significance, anything will work. Accessorizing will be the key.
