New Stone cold Bloomers today!

Stone Palace Divine With first bloom ever this week. Great size plant with big blooms. I love this pale yellow beauty already, added last fall.

Stone Palace Trailblazer started this week, added last fall. Another big plant with large blooms, it’s a keeper for me.

Another new to the garden, added last fall, Toward the blue, first blooms this week. I like it so far.

Got Bluegrass Memories from Laura, love, love the color. It had its first bloom ever this week, it melted in the sun...... I moved it that evening and voila! It likes its new spot, the blooms look this nice at 5 pm.

My Orange Smoothie looks much better this season, still has some improving to do but I’m hopeful.

Mary’s Baby first bloom today, Maryl is responsible for her being in my garden.

      Stone Palace Divine is gorgeous, I love it. I like Trailblazer too, but Divine is just wonderful! Bluegrass memories is a good plant here, I love the color. Lovely bloom on Orange Smoothie too.

      Bluegrass Memories is so pretty. I know people get tired of me saying this but I saw no blooms on mine this year-insects. Yours is lovely. I also like your Stone Palace acquisitions.

      Pretty new ones! My favorites are Mary's Baby and Bluegrass Memories! I loved BM here too but it only lasted a couple seasons. I need to move a dark one from the sun too, melted by 10am :)

      You say SP Trail Blazer has large blooms.....how big would you say they are? And is it tall? I'm not familiar with the Stone Palace daylilies but they're both pretty. Do you own any others? Toward the Blue has soft, delicate coloring and looks like a bitone to me. Very beautiful.

      I've had color combinations similar to Bluegrass Memories and they did not like our high heat. Yours apparently loves you since the move.....Mary's Baby is another one enjoying your garden. She is not a fast grower, but she is steady. In a few years she should be at peak performance.....I couldn't get over how well Orange Smoothie did for me this year. Here's hoping it picks up stamina for you too..............Maryl

      I like those Stone Palace ones! I'm glad you found a good spot for Bluegrass Memories to retain it's beautiful color! It looks lovely.

      Celeste, I did some measuring today on my Stone Palace daylilies. Trailblazer has 29” scapes, Divine has 30” scapes, blooms are both over 7”. These are the only Stone Palace daylilies I have and were both added in the fall. The hybridizer , Evick, is in Michigan. The double fans I got were big, healthy and freshly dug.
