HONEY, I SHRUNK THE CAT

This is the first of my collection of 'cat-themed' daylilies I got from Bret Clement last summer. These are the first ever blooms. I like this quirky daylily. It has good branching already and is taller than registered. I will show a couple different blooms.

That was from Saturday after the party, 5:00 p.m.

From yesterday, around 11:00 a.m.

I'm going to test this out and see if it posts. If it does then I'll be back with more.

SCARLET PIMPERNEL

This big boy grows in partial shade and still blooms it's heart out every year. It is always one of my first to bloom.

Another early is SWIRLING SPIDER which also grows in partial shade

I wish they could have more sun but I have HUGE trees on my property

Hate you had to fight with Houzz but well worth it to us!! Such lovelies you have going!! And you had to know they would all burst on the scene soon. Scarlet Pimpernel is a big boy! What a looker with that color. Wispy Rays and the Moldovan seedling really stand out for different reasons. And I am so glad EITV got to bloom for you. Looking for more soon!!!

If Houzz cooperates, things can roll along, but that's a big "if." Very interesting group, with a variety of forms and colors. Pure and Simple is always one of the first here too. Hope it reblooms this year. Wispy Rays here is always a bit wispy in bud count. Katherine Caldwell looked good here too. Ledgewood's Firecracker may appreciate your cooler clime; quickly fries in afternoon sun here.

As always the colors are so vibrant in your climate. You know I like the rounded form best so Pure and Simple turns out to be my favorite. I used to grow Bahama Butterscotch and it was a good grower for me. Nice to see it again. Katherine Caldwell is another one that looks so pretty in your garden.............Hope everyone enjoyed the party.........Maryl

Beautiful start to your season! You have lovely clumps blooming already, I guess they have to get a move on before it gets cold. Love the spidery ones, and of course, Clown Parade!

Beautiful Bunch! I thinks your post solved a NOID for me! Years ago Brianna was given a tall red daylily that blooms well and the owner of it forgot to write down the name for us. Looking at yours, then going to garden.org for stats and other pics and surely it is Scarlett Pimpernel. Yay! I almost typed Pumpernickel---LOL Dick!

Catherine Caldwell is very pretty. Your Karen's Curls is more lavender and more curled than mine.

Beautiful group, I'm glad you won out over Houzz :) Wispy Rays is my favorite of these. I'm kind of in the same boat as you - too many blooming now to get photos of everything, plus trying to get pics of my seedlings and label them with a number to correspond to the pictures, and trying to avoid all the heat. I don't think I'm doing a very good job of tracking my FFO dates this year now. It was cooler today, but we had a couple of brief showers - not enough rain to help (less than a tenth of an inch) - just enough to ruin most blooms for picture taking. I look forward to seeing more of your pictures soon!

Houzz just tries you, doesn't it. Love the first two, especially..Names and colors. I really like Karen's Curls, and clown Parade is always a favorite. You should be showering us with lots of lovlies now...and that is good.

With daylilies, I guess it's feast or famine. I'm enjoying your instant feast. I think Pure and Simple is my favorite. The clump of Scarlet Pimpernel is impressive with it's early bloom!
