Artwork opinion

After a year in my new home I’m still trying to find the perfect artwork that fits my style and budget. I love color but instead on doing my walls in a more vibrant palette as I did in my last home I decided to go a different route with lighter neutral walls and adding the color with artwork however it’s just so difficult finding what I like in the design and color range to fit my space and budget. Below are pics of my 4th set of prints that I have purchased for this space in my dining area. Color wise for my taste they are spot and they blend with everything in my open dining, kitchen, cafe and great room floor plan but I’m not sure if the canvas prints are too big and overbearing for the one wall. Again, this is my 4th attempt and thus far my favorite but I’m still trying to decide if the size is overkill. Opinions??

The colors look wonderful in your space. But perhaps the issue is “too much of a good thing?” I would remove one canvas and the mirror and lamp. And just hang one of your canvases (the two birds?) over your sideboard. See how it looks. Replace it with the owl. Which do you prefer? I think that having all three items diminishes the impact of the art. Good luck!

It’s too much in my honest opinion. Maybe it’s the mirror?

I would get rid of th mirror and keep the artwork.

The artwork is great. The mirror does not play nicely with the pictures.

Yes, the prints’ subject matter and colors are so me and are perfect for our woodsy garden home, but exactly why I was soliciting opinions, it does seem a bit overwhelming. For several reasons, the main being sentimental attachment, the mirror is staying. I don’t have another wall big enough to accommodate the mirror and I know my husband is not going to want to do nail hole repairs so it appears I’m back to square one. UGH!

You would need to choose just one of those large pieces for that wall, and looks like the mirror has won. I like the canvases, but don't think they're the best feel for your somewhat formal (and very pretty) space. What about a matted and framed botanical print on each side of the mirror? Slightly smaller than the mirror to allow it to take center stage.

Mirror mirror on the wall.....begone! The art is great....pick your favorite. Maybe even get it framed.
