Monstera (propogated) leaning

Hi friends! Okay, I have my third house plant but first time ever that it’s propogated. My friend took it from her massive monstera but for some reason mine is starting to lean out. it was already leaning out a little due to the way it was grown from propagating but I don’t know what to do to help it grow more upright? any tips would be incredible, I want this little love to grow and last! Thank you all!! (Also I water as I’ve been told, and it’s in indirect light) I could always move it across the room from my bedroom window but any advice would be lovely!

It's a vine and needs something to climb on. If it wasn't a vine, you could correct the tendency to flop over by changing the planting angle when you repot, or by pruning it back to a leaf that faces the direction in which you'd like it to grow.

I don't know what watering instructions you've been given, but your soil should allow you to water to beyond the point of total saturation, so you're flushing the soil whenever you water, this, without
having to worry the soil will remain saturated for an extended period,
limiting root function, or worse, wrecking root health. It should also be fertilized regularly with an appropriate fertilizer. Ask if you want recommendations.

Thank you so much for getting back to me! so should I get a stick for my pot? Also, if I do, should I get something to wrap around it and pull the stems in? Thank you in advance!

Do you think I should get something put into the pot for it to climb up? And do you think it would be best if I got yarn or something and wrapped it around the stick and stems to pull it in.

If it can't climb, it will sprawl. Green sisal or jute twine is cheap and sort of blends in with the stem and foliage. Just don't leave it tied to the same location on the plant for any length of time as it will bight into the stem as it thickens. Move it now and then if you think the plant is insecure.

Everything I've read says to get a moss pole for the monsteras to climb. But I don't have one one, so just a guess :)

You don't have to maintain Monstera onto a pole or to a stake. But you may want to stake it temporarily until the main stem thickens up. Eventually though, like in a few years, it will sprawl. At that point you can always cut and re-root it.
