Palm indentification

Hello all :)
I'm new to gardening/plants and my only background taking care of them has been multiple failures at keeping my mom's healthy and alive while she's on vacation. It's a shame because I love tending for creatures and things and they're such beautiful additions to a home, and so I bought a palm on a whim while at the grocery store.
It's unidentified and looking around, I'm a bit confused as to what it could be. It's a tiny thing for the moment so it might be too soon to tell? I'd love your help in knowing what it is and some tips and tricks that might help me not kill it!
I'm in canada where winter consists of three months of snow and ice, so this baby will stay inside.
Thank you in advance :)
