That clump of Pattern Evolution is something special, and it looks so pretty surrounded by purple coneflowers. It's a shame Margo Reed Indeed doesn't perform well for you. Isle of Patmos is wonderful, and look at all the buds out have still to go on Tahiti Sweetie! Mean Green certainly has multiplied well for you. The sibling to it, Miss Demeanor, has not multiplied much at all for me, even after three years in the ground. I suspect the grubs got to it.

I absolutely love Tahiti Sweetie! What a great color. Pattern Evolution is next. I'm on the fence about Mean Green. By your picture I say WOW; by some other pictures I say it just ok. Isle of Patmos is pretty too.

Pattern Evolution is so pretty!! And what a shot of Mean Green!! It was really showing out in that clump. I was sad when my last Carnival in Mexico bloomed-it is always a standout and I don't think I had one bad bloom. I am sorta wondering about Margo myself. It did not perform here this year very well and I certainly am in the south! Nor did it look good last year. You can only pet them so long, yes? Brad is right-Tahiti Sweetie does have a great color.

Tahiti Sweetie always brings a smile due to the luscious color. Pattern Evolution is such a pretty sight. And you know I just adore the look of a large array of Mean Green blooms. what a nice post, Julia. Oh, and by the way, Margo reed Indeed was a pretty bloom but she hated it here. I figured she wanted a more northern site.

Pattern Eolution is a terrific clump, and Mean Green is certainly impressive. Mean green was new for me this year, and did surprisingly well, but i can't wait to see it look like yours. Such a shame Margo does not perform well for you. It is a great one here, and not really in the best spot, has to reach a little for the sun. It just had its last blooms yesterday. Earth and all Stars is really pretty. I have had my eye on Tahiti Sweetie, kinda think I need that one.

Great clumps! Mean Green looks great! I like the name Back to Fuchsia and the bloom is very pretty. Your Isle of Patmos is so much darker, looks very nice that way.

Lots of clumps filled with buds. Looks very green, whereas dryness has taken over elsewhere.

Carnival in Mexico is never as deep as yours. This year, the base color was a beige. It is not a favorite, partly because of mediocre bud count and branching. I often wonder why it was chosen for a Stout.

nat: Isle of Patmos looks very dark because the angle I shot the photo with the sun backlighting it. You can't see the watermark it has.
