Is the chair necessary? It is a dining chair and there isn’t any connection to the lyre arm chair and drop front desk. What if you put the lyre chair in its place and purchased a new one for the desk? I found a great chair for a client for her desk at a very reasonable price. Choose a blue.

Sorry, I love the chair by the desk and everyone has complimented how much they love it. I could swap it out and put this other chair in my bedroom.I do need to keep the chairs for extra seating when we have lots of people in my home.

Would any of these look better in my bedroom than the yellow chair?

I'd go for chair number three, which coordinates nicely with the lyre chair, stained in a coordinating warm dark tone or painted in a soft blue like chair number 4, with cushion number two. I would not use chair number one for a dining chair unless it's a lot lighter than it looks.

One more thing to consider these two chairs I add to my breakfast area when I need additional seating. So the chair in my bedroom does not have to be a dining chair.

This is another chair I might consider, do you think it goes with the LYRE chair?
