Can the bulbs be changed out for more white looking ones as opposed to yellow?

Yes, as long as they are G9 type bulbs, you can replace the ones that come with the fixture.

I'm interested in the 36 bulb version of this chandelier. Can it be made to have 6 or so strands extend beyond 11.5 ft? We have a high ceiling two story foyer and would like to be able to see some of the bulbs from the front landing. Thank you.
