They all look wonderful! I looked and looked and it's impossible to pick a favorite, I'd be glad to see all those blooming here )) Although my Two Sues is still blooming, but just a few buds left. That's so nice that it reblooms. Oh I will have one not so instant rebloom too! On, of all things, Cosmic Traveler, never watered it this year (more than a month of no rain here).

Those Buntyn's get my mouth watering. They knew a good edge when they made it. I was sorry to see them get out of the biz. River City Pier Surfer is a patterned beauty for sure and, for my personal garden, I almost always choose selfs over patterns. How hardy has it been for you?........Every year I see a couple of late reds that I like and All American Chief is one of them. Such a vibrant orange red color. You know I also love the color on Pink Lemonade Party......Just goes to show you personal taste, I'm not overly fond of the colors on Two Sues, but know a lot of people like it. So many daylilies to choose from that there is one for everyone's taste.............Maryl

Is Blue Over You a Lambertson that has grown well for you? Pink Lemonade Party has produced a lot of blooms for you. River City Pier Surfer is a looker, but I am always wary of anything from the Fashion Police line. FP produced a couple of decent blooms a year; definitely didn't like this climate.

So many lovely flowers on rebloom, everyone is a winner. Blue over You, what a shame it’s a Lambertson, I’m wondering if the few I have will survive and hesitate to add any more.

I figured as much Debra on River City Pier Surfer. I've grown quite a few of the Buntyn pinks and they all had problems. Only Pink Aloha remains and I think it's probably one of their best as far as longevity in mid south and up goes....I started growing in pots because of our soil. Most of it is solid clay. I mean the kind of clay that can (and has) literally strangled tree roots, wrapping them round and round until the tree falls over. I've seen worse soil on some gardening shows though - Caliche soil in Arizona for instance- where they have to take a giant drill and drill through the "soil" in order to plant the tree in much amended back fill (making in essence a giant container). No wonder they grow so many shallow rooted Cactus and Succulents there. We are lucky compared to that..............Maryl

Lovely rebloomers. Amazingly, my reblooming has been sparse this year. Which is fine-season has been long and time for moving and regrouping. Last year I did not think they would ever stop! All American Chief always has a pretty color. Of course I love Pink Lemonade Party. Your photo seems to capture every element of River City Pier Surfer!

A beautiful group of rebloomers. The ruffled edges on several of those are wonderful.

Blue Over You is my #1 choice here . Wow ! All American Chief is second but so close to number 1 it is really a tie for my attention . Gonna look for Purple Peace ......I waaaant it ! Oh Heck , I want them all .........

I am guessing we won't see any rebloom here ......far to dry and deadly .

Sherry, Nancy and Heather - Although Blue Over You is gorgeous in the early morning, that blue eye does fade to gray by midday here.

Kate - I've had a lot of rebloom this year, but many of the ones that have always rebloomed in the past are not doing so this year - at least not yet.

Maryl - I thought your pot culture was caused by soil, but I couldn't remember. Heavy clay is a pain. About half of my yard is heavy clay. It's taken me 20 years to amend it so things grow well.

What happened to the Bush cultivars that you liked last year?

Mantis - Betty Bush had instant rebloom this time, instead of a later rebloom. I've posted a couple of photos of that one. Maney Augustine is a midseason bloomer. She did not like the new spot in the ground and only scaped on one of five fans. That place must be shadier than I thought. I didn't photograph it because it was in the very weedy area far from the house.
