I think a linen headboard would look great. When I first saw your post I thought of my own room. Blue on window walls with drapery in tan as the other 2 walls. I originally thought about an upholstered headboard myself but got a deal on the one I bought. Nothing in my room matches. We bought a king bead when we bought this house. Our old home was not large enough to have a king. So most everything in this bedroom is new to us.

I'm worried about matching the linen. I have linen drapes, lined covered cornices, a linen comforter, a linen bed skirt and a linen table cloth on the small table behind a love seat over in the corner. Too much linen? Especially if I add more on a headboard?
