2019 bloom season

Diana was the first bloom of the year, and she’s a newer cultivar for me. Blooming two months and the inflo is still going, and will be joined by a second soon


Kona Candy will not be left behind.


Waimea, with her hot colors and wobbly branches:


J4, a prolific bloomer with a small, tidy growth habit, changeable colors and 4” blooms.


Lemon Drop. The best yellow. Period.


These are just the first week of June. Its been a great summer for blooms!

    Love AG's blooms...hate its growth. I tried that rootbound concept like George said for the last 8 years on my original AG cutting. It's still an ungainly grower. Some of the cuttings grew nicely for a few years and are now starting to spread and droop. They get bent/shaped by prevailing winds and sometimes will snap right off.

    It seems to work ok to prune it back at the first branch crotch that starts to point down or near horizontal. You end up with this box full of cuttings but like you said just gift them away.

    Here is my ETLD earlier this summer after being up-potted to straighten out a bad lean. it should straighten out and start to thicken up over the next year or so.
