Most primulina (and I do have a 3 yr old linearifolia) prefer cooler temperatures.

Do not fertilize yet and keep the soil barely moist, I usually root the cuttings under the dome with high humidity and barely moist soil - and move them to the next pot and next location after they are well rooted and started to grow again.

Plastic or clay - doesn't really matter that much - as long as we keep our itchy watering hands under control. I know people who successfully drown everything ... because they cannot visit their plants without a watering can. 5 times a day.

My mother is like that, drowns everything. It had been doing fine with me, but I think my grandmother must have overwatered it while I was gone. She's 80 and can't walk very far so she tends to baby plants a little too much...I noticed it declining when I got back. The wetness in the picture was because I had potted it in new soil, watered it, then decided you guys might be able to help so I rinsed the soil off the cutting. That's why the soil is wet, too. I used some different soil after talking to you guys, along with a clay pot for some extra air to the soil. Guess I just have to wait now. Wish me luck ,
