It is normal, granular poisons should be avoided with children and pets. If you want to treat your yard and let your children play in it, use liquids over dry, as you have discovered, the granular dissolve over time.

You used a time release poison, if you reduce the amount of time the poison is active, you “wasted” the application.

The active ingredient is enclosed in a substance that disolves over time. Different sizes take different times to disolve.

Does that mean my yard is safe for children to play after 1/2” of water on the lawn?

is there a way for me to know how long it will take or how much water? I won’t buy this product again as it‘s taking over a week until my children are able to play in the grass. I can’t wait until it’s safe for them to play again soon
