We came home to find a branch of our lovely plumeria snapped off and lying on the ground. I’m so sad as it just flowered yesterday and we had nursed it back after a winter where we lost all but this one. I have two questions:

1) what to do with the piece that fell off? I want to try to make a new plant, but don’t know what to do. I think I let it sit for a week and then plant it?

2) what do I do to protect the main plant where it broke off?

I’m a newbie at this, so I’d appreciate any advice please. thank you in advance!
