Sadly, it would probably still happen with any deliveries or people innocently walking by the front of the house.

I recently read about people putting opaque window film on the lower part of their windows to block their dog's view out of them (because of similar behavior). It lets in the light still and people can see out over the top of the film. Think that could work for you? If not, perhaps chairs with wooden arms and upholstered seats might be more durable?

I like the wood piece that I think you said you'll paint white. The wood adds some warmth and richness to your room. Love the new mirror, but worry that the demilune table and lamps and mirror are too much black that doesn't really go with the colors and style of your other things, esp the new coffee table. The lamps seem too spindly for the beefy table legs, etc. I would rethink that pairing.
