Good Aztec Gold Alternatives

I've heard the pros and cons. Love the flower and scent, hate the growth habit. To add to that, mine seems to be slow to grow and bloom in colder temps but then yellows and drops leaves as soon as the weather heats up.


What are some good alternatives to AG that people have found? I am considering replacing it with a Lemon Drop. I live in a tight space, zone 7a and I need potted plumerias that behave well.


Still, AG is my first plumie and most reliable bloomer. Sigh.

    Lemon Drop! Great growth habit. Blooms like crazy. Smells great. Insanely easy to root, perfect for gifting out cuttings.
