So glad you fighting the good fight here! I absolutely adore Kitty Bannerman and Lucky Streak. I wonder how purple Lucky Streak would be here. I’m glad you posted Emma’s Green Giant, it was added here this spring but no blooms yet. Getting Airborne looks wonderful with its companion plantings.

I missed the 2nd batch. I have been seeing Inquire Within this year, every time I see it I look back several times. I started to order it from someone I think, but talked myself out of it. It 8s still callin'my name though.

They are all so nice, but I can pick Mountain Bluebird as my favorite.

I agree with Brad-Mountain Bluebird is wonderful-your purple mountain, I suppose! I also really really like Kitty Bannerman and it appears to be opening well with ruffles and edges. Lucky Streak also stands with those white midribs. So many, all pretty!

I'm glad to see all of these. I think Mountain Bluebird and Kitty Bannerman are my top favorites. Westbourne Good Old Days and Venus's Fire are looking good too!

Such nice groupings--especially the ox tears clump, the Erin Lea with fern and rudbeckia, the Venus Fire group. While Houzz gives me problems, one thing I don't experience is resizing issues. I never have to resize my photos. Years ago, I had to do this all the time with garden web, but I just drag them into the photo slot.

I don't resize either. Maybe I should but that would involve me learning how on my very limited editing program (if I even have that feature?) and I'm not up to it.........My favorites are Kitty Bannerman, Lucky Streak and Acquire the Fire. Interestingly enough, that deep red you get on Acquire the Fire is the same here in our climate (heat index = 110 F Tuesday, actual temperature 104 F) - with exceptional colorfast/sunfast qualities for such a dark color. That makes it one remarkable daylily in my book.................Maryl

All are beautiful! Kitty Bannerman has some serious ruffles! Lucky Streak is my favorite of the group. I keep saying I am going to get that one, but since we are trying to downsize, it's hard to justify buying more.

dick_in_ohio, Quite a few years ago, when she was still selling her introductions, I got it directly from the hybridizer, Christine Weitz (upstate NY). Unfortunately, she is no longer selling. I was able to get quite a few of her intros. It is unusual for a heavily ruffled daylily like KB to open well

in my climate and it is the only ruffled one I grow. I like her so much I set pods on her this year.
