Upper cabinets on either side of window?

We are planning a kitchen remodel in a house we recently purchased and are having a hard time deciding what to do with the wall with the window. We plan to do all new cabinets (IKEA), countertops, and backsplash as well as purchase new stainless steel appliances, but keep the same layout. We really do not like the narrow cabinet to the left of the window and the cabinets above the fridge. They are oddly shaped and don’t seem to serve much purpose, so we are considering not having any cabinets on that wall, including the one on the right side of the window. Would it look weird if we had no cabinets on that side of the kitchen at all? There is a walk in pantry not pictured on the far right side of the kitchen and drawers/cabinets in the island so we are not worried to lose the storage space if we take them out. If we don't have any on that side how would we frame the fridge and window to look ascetically pleasing? Any suggestions on what to do with that side of the kitchen are greatly appreciated! :)
