it looks like you chose the floor to be the star of your kitchen. I agree that the Giallo would be too busy (I actually have it in my kitchen)

I would do a solid surface counter. What color is the darkest tile? I would do that color for the counter. Then, I would do the lightest beige for the backsplash.

I have zero design sense. Originally I wanted the put same hardwood in other parts of my house in the kitchen but it was discontinued. A previous post by a professional mentioned never to use granite countertops with brick floors as it would be too busy. However, I do like granite, but now I’m thinking maybe a white or whitish quartz with white subway tile.

Find a solid color quartz that picks up one of the colors in the floor tile. Beautiful tile btw. It makes a beautiful statement.
