Found this box in Croatia at a little stall. It’s only about 8x10cm. Made out of a light coloured wood. The box is light in weight.

It reads “To my Nada from her Vlado 7.XXI.40”.

The insignia is an F over an N

Does anyone know what it is used for and potentially what the wood could be?
