I can't tell looking at it of what variety it is but it looks like it will be nice and sweet Matt.

I swear.... figs are constantly misidentified... I bought a small tree from Canadian tire this Spring... Said Colasanti White but it's starting to turn dark lol.... another unknown fig for me.

Let's just hope its Colasanti Dark !

Whot is ripening in your fig collection Dave ?

Ripening in my fig garden are Italian Honey, Brown Turkey, on Black Madeira one started turn color on 24 another yesterday, Yellow long neck ripening quite a few at once, Hardy Chicago is in full ripening zone, that is all for now.

Have you tried Colasanti Dark? I'll have to look for a Honey fig come Winter.

My Hardy Chicago is also in full swing. I should have another 8 figs this weekend. A few more just starting to turn color so I'm expecting to have those next week.

I'll be trying your Negronne this weekend... just waiting another day or two for it to be super ripe....but it has a nice black skin right now, much darker than HC.

The "Colasanti White" which is actually starting to turn dark... give it a few days and I'll have more information... and my Strawberry Verte (Hopefully) should ripen in mid September hopefully.

I also have a Violette de Bordeaux with 1 fig on it... small rooted cutting that I got in April... hopefully it'll ripen the lone fig by Frost... I'll be doing the shuffle to help it out in October.

I haven't come a cross Colasanti white or dark.

If you are looking for Italian Honey (lattarula), Col de Dame Blanc, Mery lane seedless, I will have cuttingcuttings in November. I don't have Strawberry Verte but I have a Violette the Bordeaux that I got as a cutting from Rickyv101 last spring, no fig's on it, I even pinched it but no fig's.

July and August was not it's usual hot weather here, the night temperatures are pretty low too, so I am looking at shuffling starting I thing mid October.

Moonlight, I'm disappointed to tell you I lost that ripe Negronne.... I was planning to harvest it tonight, super ripe but I left it on for 1 hour too long.... 1 hour....

Nothing, I wasn't expecting losing the fig so I didn't take any pictures... One minute it's there, the next it's not... Very disappointing... the next ripe fig is probably 3 weeks away so lets see what happens.
